Travelling through theatrical history, Year 9 and 10 Drama explore the elements of drama and production through study of a range of theatrical styles – including Greek theatre, circus skills, puppetry, Commedia Del Arte, Brecht and Shakespeare – to work collaboratively and creatively with scripted and unscripted material.
Senior Drama students explore the work of theatrical practitioners and styles by making, performing and critically analysing both scripted and unscripted material. They work collaboratively on creating original performances and showcases as well as using their theoretical and experiential knowledge of texts to write critically about theatre as an ever changing and engaging medium of performance.
