The Visual Arts course focuses on developing technical proficiency across a number of artistic forms as well as the literacy skills needed to explain and discuss the world of art. In particular, students will learn about the history of visual arts and develop an understanding of surrounding world events which influenced the creation of art throughout different time periods. Students will draw on this knowledge and engage in a variety of artmaking projects, to inspire their creative thinking, problem-solving responses and own style of artistic expression.
