In Year 11-12 Ancient History, students learn about a range of different ancient civilisations from Egypt, Greece, Persia and Rome. Some stand out topics include Tutankhamun: The boy king, The Greco-Persian wars, The ancient city of Persepolis and Ancient Pompeii and Herculaneum. Students also undertake an excursion to the Macquarie University History Museum to investigate ancient artefacts and dress in ancient Greek hoplite armour.
