Students studying accelerated Information Processes and Technology (IPT) learn about information-based systems such as: Transaction Processing Systems, Communication Systems, Database Systems and Multimedia Systems.
Projects included in this course include:
Information system deep analysis and research
- Database design and development
- Graphics and multimedia authoring development
- Communication system analysis
- Multimedia animation
Through this course, students will build valuable knowledge of:
- Data analysis, business process optimisation (systems analysis) and data science
- The interactive nature of effective information-based systems
- Available and emerging information technologies
- The communication, personal and team skills necessary for developing and managing a successful information system
- Project management, documentation and user interfaces
ENTERPRISE COMPUTING
New Course from 2024
The new Enterprise Computing syllabus will be taught from 2024 onwards, replacing Information Processes and Technology. Students who started the Information Processes and Technology course in 2023 will finish the course according to the previous syllabus.
