Business Studies focuses on the nature and role of business, the business environment, how businesses operate and responsibilities of management. Students learn how to communicate key information using business reports and apply mathematical concepts to the business world. Case studies form the basis for discussions about business essentials, problems that can occur and how to address them. Highlights of the course are the ‘Plan Your Own Enterprise’ (PYOE) competition and an excursion to the local McDonald’s.
