On Tuesday 6 September 2022, the Principal Ms Asli Harman, Deputy Principal Mr Frank Abas and the Director Educational Leadership (immediate past Principal of Normanhurst Boys HS) Mr Mark Anderson joined Mr Lam at an awards ceremony at the Sydney Town Hall.
Mr Lam achieved this award because he has taken a leadership role in professional networks to support his colleagues in external learning opportunities. He has actively led other colleagues in NSW through various Yammer communities, State-wide Staffrooms and Head Teacher networks. He is held in high esteem by his colleagues across these networks as being always up to date with contemporary curriculum methods, Visible Learning models, using formative assessment for ongoing analysis and application of digital technologies.
